Terms of Service for PunchPad

Welcome to PunchPad. By downloading, accessing, or using our app, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

1. About PunchPad

PunchPad is a mobile app designed to help professional builders, general contractors, and superintendents manage punch list tasks. The app allows users to:

  • Create, edit, and manage tasks

  • Assign tasks to subcontractors

  • Generate shareable task reports via URL

Subcontractors cannot create or modify tasks — they can only view tasks assigned to them through a shared report link.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding agreement to use PunchPad. By using the app, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Account Registration (Required)

To access and use PunchPad, you must create an account using a valid email address and secure password. By registering:

  • You agree to provide accurate, current information.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

  • You are responsible for any activity under your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at info@punchpad.app

4. Use of the App

You agree to:

  • Use PunchPad only for lawful, professional purposes.

  • Not misuse the app to transmit harmful, misleading, or unlawful content.
    Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or interfere with the app or its systems.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you are violating these terms.

5. Data and Content

You retain ownership of any content (e.g., tasks, project names) you enter into PunchPad.

By using the app, you grant us permission to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service. We do not access or use your data for any other reason.

Punch list reports are shared via link. These links are not password protected, so anyone with the link can view the report. You are responsible for controlling who you share these links with.

6. Data Deletion

If you delete tasks or your account, that data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

PunchPad is not responsible for any loss of data caused by deletion initiated by you or someone with access to your account.

7. Availability and Updates

We aim to keep PunchPad reliable, but:

  • We do not guarantee 100% uptime or that the app will always be error-free.

  • We may update, change, or remove features at any time without notice.

  • We are not liable for any loss caused by downtime or technical issues.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

PunchPad is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We make no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the app. Use of the app is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Our total liability for any claims related to the app is limited to the amount you’ve paid us (if any).

This includes (but is not limited to) loss of data, profits, or business interruptions.

10. Termination

You can stop using PunchPad at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these terms

  • We discontinue the service

Upon termination, your access to the app and your stored data may be permanently deleted.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service occasionally. If we make major changes, we’ll notify you in the app or via email. Continued use of the app after changes go into effect means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
